The Industry
Since we’ve been in business, we have experienced many changes in the industry with different regulations and changes in the operations of dry cleaning.
Some of the changes came from Environment Canada and others came from the fact that our society changed in the way we dress and what types of fabrics manufacturers are using to design different types of garments. Some of these fabrics are now made with elastic fibers or combine different fibers. This created concerns related to which process of cleaning would be most appropriate to clean the garment without damaging it.
With many years of experience and consultation with labs like IFI (International Fabricare Institute) we came to a common ground in the process of cleaning the most difficult garments. One of the most significant changes in the last 10 years has been the technology in the machinery and the chemicals that are used for the dry cleaning process.
Who We Are
Environment Canada was advising the industry to make changes and we were one of the first to implement those changes, even before they came into effect.
Not only have we changed the chemical we use, which is approved by Environment Canada and is safe for the environment, we also made a larger commitment to completely replace our machinery with new technology. This change made us the first to put the new technology into use in Western Canada.

- offers customers the use of two-way bags with the purpose of eliminating plastic bags
- offers degradable plastic bags for customers who don’t want to use the two-way bag option
- recycles hangers and other products
- with the new chemical, is able to take care of problematic items such as beads and buttons not made of the best quality
